Calcium and magnesium (i.e. limestone) in well water causes the following problems:
Highest Grade Resin – Our softeners use only the highest grade resins. They are stable and uniform with no broken pieces, assuring excellent exchange capacity and long life.
Safety Valve Float – Our brine tanks have a float activated safety brine valve to prevent overflow of brine. A large heavy duty brine tank minimizes frequency of salt refill. A salt grid, standard equipment of all of our softeners, allows use of almost any type of salt and minimizes bridging, mushing and necessity of frequent clean outs.
